Introduction to the Consumer Data Right (CDR)

The Consumer Data Right (CDR) is Australian law for how certain data is collected and handled. It is meant to keep that data secure and to leave you in control of what is shared, with whom, and for how long.

An Accredited Data Recipient (ADR) is an organisation approved under the CDR to receive consumer data. Basiq is the ADR we use when you connect a bank feed on Quill. Futuret3ch and MemeTorrent receive the posted transactions Basiq collects with your consent, so Quill can match them to the bills you entered and produce GST and BAS figures on this desk.

That is the minimum we ask for: posted statement lines (date, description, amount, account). We do not ask for your bank password. We do not sell this data. We do not use it to train a model.

Consent management

When you give consent, you stay in control. You can review or withdraw it in two places:

1. In Quill: open the desk → Bank accounts → Disconnect, or withdraw at the bank if you connected through Open Banking.
2. By email: Support@futuret3ch.com.au or Accounts@futuret3ch.com.au.

Data retention and de-identification

Statement lines that land on your Quill desk stay there until you remove them. Disconnecting a Basiq connection does not wipe lines already on the desk. You can delete those lines on the desk.

When you withdraw consent with Basiq, Basiq deletes or de-identifies the copy they hold, in line with their CDR policy, except where law requires a longer hold. We do not keep a second copy outside your desk and this portal.

You can order a copy of everything we hold on this account (profile, wallets, scores, consent record). Staff can send anything that sits on another desk (Quill statements, Shield, IN-AI).

Close account

Closing the portal account is in account settings, so a consent screen cannot wipe the house by accident. Open Portal → Settings → Close account.
